March 13, 2011, Bethany Beach, DE. Edward J. Appel, Jr. has joined iNameCheck after over 20 years in the FBI.

Ed has extensive experience in investigations, information technology devices and their administration, computer forensics and information security. His responsibilities included technology deployment, personnel management, enterprise and systems security and related duties.

Ed will focus on iNameCheck investigations, infrastructure, security and business development from his San Francisco Bay Area office.

The book breaks new ground, providing the best methods for using the Internet for background investigations ("cybervetting"), legal and privacy protection policies and the litigation landscape. Based on over five years' study and practice in Internet investigations, it includes case examples, do's and don't's, legal rulings and solutions for integrating cybervetting into legacy personnel security programs.
